No pressure, no jargon — just a conversation about your operation.
INTRODUCING BROKERS
Give Your Clients the Tech Stack They've Been Asking For.
Partner with AgOptimus and give your agricultural clients access to a modern execution platform. As an added resource, clients can independently access Numbers.ag and GrainBasis — separate platforms built for ag producers.
Your Expertise. Our Infrastructure. Their Problem Solved.
You’ve spent years building a book on relationships and trust. But in this market, trust alone doesn’t retain accounts when the firm down the road offers better technology. Your clients aren’t leaving because of your service — they’re leaving because your platform looks outdated and you can’t give them the basis tools or analytics that the bigger operations are now expecting as table stakes.
Building technology in-house isn’t realistic on an IB’s margin. And most clearing arrangements lock you into one FCM, one platform, and one set of tools — take it or leave it. AgOptimus is a DBA of Optimus Futures, which maintains clearing relationships with multiple FCMs. That means we can structure the right clearing fit for your book, not force your accounts into whatever single arrangement we happen to have. Your clients get Numbers.ag, Grain Basis, and a modern execution platform.
We’re not here to take your clients. We’re here to make sure you stop losing them.
Sound Familiar?
The Conversation That Starts Most IB Relationships We've Built.
01
"My clients keep asking about tools I can't offer."
They’ve seen the platforms the bigger firms are pushing. Basis tracking, AI analytics, mobile execution. You don’t have it, and telling them “we’ll get there” only works so many times. The technology gap between you and the national firms is becoming a retention problem.
02
"I'm losing accounts to worse brokers with better platforms."
You know the clients are getting worse service. They probably know it too. But the guy down the road has a platform that looks like it was built this decade, and that’s enough to move the account. You’re competing on relationships in a market that increasingly rewards infrastructure.
03
"I can't scale without better infrastructure, but I can't build it on my own."
You’ve got the expertise and the relationships to grow. But every new account exposes the same limitation — your back office, your platform, and your reporting can only stretch so far. Building and maintaining proprietary trading technology can be prohibitively expensive for most introducing brokers. Hiring support staff eats into margins. You need a partner, not a project.
04
"My clearing arrangement hasn't changed in years, but my business has."
When you signed on, the payout structure made sense. But your book has grown, your client mix has shifted, and the economics haven’t kept up. Maybe the FCM relationship is fine but the technology is stale. Maybe the platform works but the payout doesn’t reflect the volume you’re delivering. Most IBs don’t renegotiate — they just outgrow.
IB Partnership
We Don't Lock You In. We Give You Options.
Most IB arrangements are straightforward to a fault: one FCM, one platform, one payout structure. If it works, fine. If it doesn’t, you either live with it or move your entire book — which most IBs won’t do because the disruption isn’t worth the marginal improvement.
AgOptimus operates as a DBA of Optimus Futures, which maintains clearing relationships with multiple FCMs. That gives us — and you — flexibility that most IB programs can’t offer. We can match clearing arrangements to the shape of your book, not the other way around. And because our technology stack is proprietary, your clients get Numbers.ag, Grain Basis, and the full platform regardless of the clearing setup. You get the economics that reflect what you actually deliver.
Your Clients Deserve Better Tools. You Deserve Better Economics.

Why Introducing Brokers Partner with AgOptimus
The IBs who call us usually aren’t in crisis — they’re in a slow squeeze. Client expectations are climbing. The platforms they can offer haven’t changed. They’re watching accounts leave for firms with flashier technology and knowing that the service on the other end is worse. It’s not an emergency, but the trajectory is clear.
What makes our IB program different is that it was designed by people who understand that dynamic. You keep your clients, your service model, and your independence. We give you a proprietary technology stack that none of your competitors can match — because Numbers.ag and Grain Basis aren’t available through any other IB arrangement. Add in multi-FCM clearing flexibility and competitive payout structures, and you’ve got the infrastructure of a national firm with the autonomy of running your own shop. No volume minimums. No account requirements. No ambiguity about whose clients they are.

FAQs
Common questions from brokers exploring the AgOptimus introducing broker program.
How does the IB relationship work?
You maintain your client relationships and continue to provide the advisory and service layer. AgOptimus provides the execution, clearing, technology platform, and back-office support. Your clients trade through our infrastructure, but you remain their primary point of contact. We handle the operational heavy lifting — you focus on what you do best.
Do my clients get access to Numbers.ag and Grain Basis?
Yes — that’s one of the core advantages of the partnership. Your clients get full access to Numbers.ag for AI-powered market analytics and Grain Basis for local basis intelligence, plus the full trading platform. These are the same tools our direct clients use. You bring the relationship, we bring the infrastructure.
Will AgOptimus contact my clients directly?
No. Your clients are your clients. We don’t market to them, solicit them, or contact them outside of routine operational communications (trade confirmations, margin notices, regulatory requirements). The relationship stays with you — that’s not a policy, it’s the foundation of the program.
What does the transition process look like?
We handle the regulatory paperwork, account transfers, and platform setup. Most IB transitions complete within one to two weeks with no disruption to your clients’ positions. We also onboard you on our systems first so you’re comfortable before your clients make the move. We’ve done this before and we know how to make it seamless.
What are the economics of the IB arrangement?
Because Optimus Futures maintains clearing relationships with multiple FCMs, we have more flexibility in structuring payout arrangements than firms locked into a single clearing setup. Specifics depend on your volume, account types, and how the partnership is structured. We’re transparent about the numbers from the first conversation — you’ll see the full picture before you make any commitments. No hidden fees, no surprises after your book moves.
