Grains:

  • Corn trading between 390 and 410 cents per bushel
  • Soybeans trading between 1030 and 1085 cents per bushel
  • Wheat near-term resistance at $6 per bushel, contract low at 575 cents per bushel

Cattle:

  • Steer carcass weights up 31.9 pounds from a year ago
  • Beef exports 13,400 metric tons, down 4% from 4-week average
  • Hog kill 479,000 head, same as last week
  • Pork exports 30,200 metric tons, down 19% from 4-week average

Energy:

  • Crude oil stocks fell 3.7 million barrels last week, versus expectations of a 2.8 million barrel decline
  • Refinery utilization fell to 91.6% from 93.7% the previous week
  • Gasoline stocks fell 5.76 million barrels last week, versus expectations of a 0.5 million barrel decline
  • Implied gasoline demand was 9.5 million barrels per day, up from 8.8 million the previous week
