Ryan Griffeth

Ryan Griffeth is a registered broker with AgOptimus, executing the majority of trades on behalf of AgOptimus's broker team for commercial operators across grain, livestock, ethanol, and food manufacturing. A former CME local trader with more than 20 years of experience, he has personally executed millions of trades over his career, representing notional value in the billions of dollars.

The team's combined client base spans the physical supply chain, grain and livestock operations managing price risk on core production, ethanol plants hedging crush margins and input costs, and large food manufacturers managing commodity exposure through OTC swaps, including a major croissant manufacturer hedging its butter costs. Ryan also trades energy markets as needed, helping commercial clients hedge fuel exposure alongside their core commodity risk.

Whether the strategy calls for a simple futures hedge or a complex options or OTC swap structure, Ryan works closely with commercial customers across risk management, trading, and execution, turning trading ideas into executable market orders across futures, options, and swaps.
