Nathan Harris was raised on his family's farm in rural Akron, Iowa, working alongside his father and grandfather raising hogs, corn, and soybeans. He graduated from Akron-Westfield High School, where he was active in both athletics and performing arts, before continuing his education at Morningside College in Sioux City, where he played football and earned a degree in Economics and Finance. After graduation, Nathan and his wife Katie returned to rural Akron, where they're raising their three children and stay active as volunteers with several local organizations.

Still active in his family's grain and livestock operation today, Nathan has been a registered broker since 2007, drawing on more than 20 years of hands-on production agriculture experience to relate directly to the producers he serves. He carries the same price risk his clients carry — not as an outside advisor, but as someone managing it firsthand. That perspective shapes how he works with grain and livestock operations across the Corn Belt and Great Plains. Recognizing that no two producers are alike, Nathan has built a broad toolkit of marketing options for his clients, developing particular expertise in OTC derivative markets and structured products in addition to traditional futures and options.
